DINGXIN SH15 sealed amorphous alloy transformers are designed for energy-efficient medium-voltage distribution systems.

Available from 30 kVA to 2,500 kVA, the standard configuration steps 10 kV down to 0.4 kV. The fully oil-filled and hermetically sealed tank protects the insulating oil from external moisture and air, helping reduce oxidation and routine maintenance.

The amorphous alloy core uses an ultra-thin magnetic ribbon approximately 0.027 mm thick. Its high electrical resistivity and low magnetization requirements significantly reduce core losses, making the transformer especially suitable for networks that remain energized continuously or operate with long periods of light load.

Amorphous alloy is a soft magnetic material primarily composed of iron with elements such as silicon and boron.

Unlike conventional silicon-steel laminations, the material has no regular crystalline structure. Its ultra-thin ribbon and high electrical resistivity help reduce eddy-current and hysteresis losses.

Because amorphous metal is sensitive to mechanical stress, DINGXIN carefully controls core handling, clamping, winding support and final assembly to avoid reducing its magnetic performance.
