The DINGXIN 20kV European Box Substation is a prefabricated kiosk-type substation that brings the full functionality of a traditional civil-engineering electrical room into a single, factory-built steel enclosure. High-voltage switchgear, a distribution transformer and low-voltage switchgear are scientifically arranged inside a kiosk shell, forming a complete, efficient and stable power distribution system. High-voltage power is fed through HV switchgear, stepped down by the transformer, and then distributed through LV switchgear — all within one transportable, outdoor-rated unit.

Compared with the compact American-style pad-mounted transformer, the European kiosk places greater emphasis on integrated equipment arrangement, accommodating conventional medium-voltage switchgear / ring main units, LV distribution boards and the transformer together — making the enclosure larger but delivering a complete, self-contained substation.

DINGXIN European box substations are composed of transformers, high-voltage switchgear and low-voltage switchgear, closely interconnected by cables or other transmission media. The equipment is arranged in either a "mu" (目) shape or a "pin" (品) shape layout inside a steel-structure kiosk, allowing flexible configuration for different site footprints and operational needs.

All internal equipment installation and commissioning are completed at the factory before delivery. On-site work is limited to fixing the substation on a pre-made base and connecting the inlet and outlet cables — no separate distribution room is required. The kiosk shell structure provides strong mobility, convenient installation and full outdoor capability, making it ideal for both permanent distribution and temporary or relocatable power projects.

The product complies with GB 1094.1-2013, GB/T 11022-2011, GB 7251.1-2013 and JG/T 10217-2013, and its specific operating conditions relate to the required environment of the transformers and switchgear it contains.
