Dingxin supplied an SC(B) series cast resin dry-type transformer solution for a power distribution project in Vietnam. Designed for modern buildings and demanding industrial environments, the transformer combines F-class insulation, vacuum-cast coil technology, low partial discharge, efficient thermal performance, and excellent fire safety.

Vietnam’s warm and humid climate can place considerable demands on electrical equipment. The project therefore required a transformer capable of maintaining stable performance under changing temperatures, high humidity, condensation risks, and continuous electrical loads.

Dingxin selected a cast resin dry-type transformer from its SC(B)10/12/13 series. This product platform covers rated capacities from 30kVA to 4,000kVA and can be configured according to the project’s required capacity, voltage ratio, vector group, impedance, enclosure protection level, and cooling method.
Unlike conventional oil-immersed transformers, the dry-type design does not require insulating oil. This eliminates the risk of oil leakage and significantly reduces fire and environmental hazards, making the transformer particularly suitable for installation close to load centers and occupied areas.
The transformer uses an F-class insulation system designed to maintain dependable dielectric and mechanical performance at elevated operating temperatures.
Its resin-cast winding structure provides excellent thermal stability, while the available Class F temperature-rise margin helps prevent premature insulation aging. Effective heat dissipation and controlled temperature rise contribute to a longer service life, stable output, and reliable operation under changing load conditions.
The high-voltage windings are manufactured using controlled vacuum-casting technology. During this process, the windings are encapsulated in high-quality insulating resin, helping eliminate internal air gaps and improving insulation consistency.
